Stretch to Move: Prevent Pain, Preserve You
===
Speaker: [00:00:00] Boo.
My job would be much easier if I scared more of my clients.
You see dentists, their clients are seeing only twice a year, but in between those appointments, they are flossing and brushing and doing all that they can to protect their teeth. From the mean old dentist who is threatening to take them out. If they don't.
I have a client who I seem to have to beg to get them to do what they need to do
now. Brushing the teeth if you're doing it properly. We're talking like two minutes in the morning. Two two minutes in the evening. There's a little bit of flossing here and there, but I could just ask [00:01:00] for them to do one stretch for 30 seconds, and to them it's the equivalent of asking for $100,000 in cash and the social security number.
I don't mean to be funny. It's to convey a frustration that you can lose a hip if you are not stretching after activity.
And if that's what they want, that's the prerogative. But my job is to help you to preserve your muscles and your ligaments and joints.
I had like to be able to scare you just [00:02:00] enough
to gain your independence. For you to be able to do all the things that you want to do
without fear, coincidentally, or ironically of things falling apart. But that requires work and you're gonna have to put the effort in the same blind effort that you put into brushing your teeth. And flossing.
So I want you to go the extra mile the way you're do when using mouthwash to stretch a little more today than you did yesterday. If you are having trouble bull going that extra mile, reach out to me at kinesmovement.com [00:03:00] to book a consult.
Until then, move free. Do more, wait less. We'll see you on the next one.
